About
For more than twenty years, Lucilene Danciguer has consulted on environmental and social projects. She has worked on environmental education with various public and nonprofit organizations, including Universidade de Campinas, Ministério do Meio Ambiente, Senac São Paulo, Secretaria de Meio Ambiente da Bahia, and several municipalities and NGOs.
In 1990, Lucilene co-founded a nonprofit organization called GAIA Social, where she developed numerous environmental education methodologies. For more than a decade, she has implemented social responsibility and social investment policies, programmes, and projects in the private sector for clients such as Grupo Votorantin, BNDES, Alcoa, Tractebel, Samarco Mineração, Petrobrás, and Shell do Brasil. Lucilene has also provided training for community, political, and business leaders engaged in sustainable local development around Brazil.
