Read more about her experience below.

Elham is a transformative process facilitator and a dedicated human rights defender, with a strong focus on advocating for the women, peace, and security agenda. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in understanding how context sensitivity influences change processes. Elham enjoys collaborating with community actors and working within local contexts to design and facilitate processes that drive social change. She is particularly passionate about women's leadership in peace initiatives and is committed to empowering young women peacebuilders, helping them grow and maximize their impact.

With a decade of experience working with international organizations in war zones and conflict-affected countries across South Asia, Central Asia, and the MENA region, Elham has developed expertise in human rights, gender issues, peacebuilding, conflict resolution, access to justice, girls’ education, and organizational development. She co-designed and co-facilitated a series of Afghanistan Future Dialogues, contributing significantly to the discourse on the country's future.

Elham finds solace and inspiration in nature. She loves walking along bodies of water, whether under the moonlight, at sunrise, or during sunset. She enjoys exploring historical places and learning about different cultures, often wearing traditional clothing from various countries, as she believes this connects her to the rich cultural tapestry of our world. Elham is deeply passionate about increasing women in facilitation and mediation and this is her vision.
