Transformative Scenario Planning uses the stories of what could happen in the future with diverse stakeholders to decide together how they want to influence the future. This capacity of the process to influence the outcome is what sets it apart from an Adaptive Scenario Planning approach, which is mainly geared to how a corporation can adapt to future scenarios out of their control.
