Monica Pohlmann has 25 years of experience designing and guiding collaborative initiatives. She is driven by the vision that it is possible to make our societies and organizations better by bringing together diverse people and perspectives to recreate our systems and ourselves.
Monica is a leading expert in Social Labs in North America. She has led the development and evolution of numerous new labs, including the Emergency Aid Lab, which is focused on college student success and is supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Previously, Monica ran her own sustainability and strategy consultancy specializing in multi-stakeholder facilitation, strategic planning, collaborative social innovation, and network design. Prior to that she was a consistent advocate for sustainability, working in municipal government as an urban planner and environmental policy advisor.
