He combines over a decade of experience in programme management and consulting with research and practice in innovation for complexity to help build a more just and thriving world.
With a background in the corporate sector, entrepreneurship, and project development, Mahmood has consulted in venture philanthropy and building cross-sector partnerships. Mahmood delivers results on projects in established institutions in multiple sectors, ranging from global development and philanthropy to energy, healthcare, and financial services. His work is varied, from digital and process transformation to culture strengthening in financial services. He has consulted on renewable energy project development in mining, as well as innovation to scale rural micro-grids.
Mahmood enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Johannesburg, and training for ultra-marathons.
