Summary
The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing Reos’ brand, marketing, and communications initiatives.
The Manager will, with colleagues, develop and implement Reos’s global brand, marketing, and communications strategy, which includes:
- Increasing brand awareness globally and in Reos’ target markets;
- Increasing regularity, consistency and quality of our marketing messages which in return will lead to an increase in qualified leads, sales, contracts and impact;
- Positioning Reos as an influential and leading organization that works with multistakeholder groups using innovative and collaborative processes to address complex problems;
- Build the capacity, culture and discipline for strong marketing and communications among Reos team members and in the organization as a whole; and
- Develop a more consistent and harmonised voice of Reos while respecting local diversity.
This position will report to the Chair of the Reos Global Council and support Reos offices globally.
Responsibilities
General management of marketing and communications
- Lead and coordinate the development and regular review of the global marketing and communications strategy, priorities, goals, and budget
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of global marketing and communications activities to support the strategy
- Coordinate and manage marketing initiatives with regional offices, facilitating alignment between global and regional strategy and materials and ensuring that marketing messaging, materials and design requirements are consistent with Reos Partners’ global standards
- Negotiate and manage global marketing and communications providers (copy writers, designers, web developers, media buyers, advertising agencies and other services) and contracts and budgets
- Track and convey globally relevant marketing and sales data to ensure that the global leadership team and marketing and sales leads are easily able to access information for business development objectives and marketing strategy development
Content development
- Develop core messaging and positioning in consultation with colleagues
- Approve global content submissions and key social media messages
- Oversee copywriting and editing for web, social media, newsletters, and other communications as needed
- Oversee the creative development of, approve, and update marketing materials, website content, advertisements, press releases, printed collateral, newsletters, and other marketing-related projects and outbound promotions
- Identify business development and sales materials used by the regions and coordinate the development of standard global materials that can be customized regionally
- Lead on impact communications
Enhancement and coordination of marketing channels
- Enhance and coordinate global marketing and communications channels: website, newsletter, blog, social media, webinars, and ecosystem events
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership including channels for publications (journals, podcasts, social media)
- Identify strategic globally relevant events for Reos to participate in and contribute to in a significant way
Brand Management
- Maintain and refine Reos’ Brand Identity Guidelines as needs/desires evolve
- Ensure that all company communications and other visual materials adhere to Reos’ Brand Identity Guidelines
- Build standard practices and procedures for the global production of literature, promotional items, business cards, etc.
- Develop and maintain a database (including rights) of photography, videography, stock images, and other marketing materials
Digital Marketing Management
- Manage and maintain Reos’ web domain(s), working with vendors and stakeholders both internal and external
- Maximize Reos’ search engine optimization through the regular posting and curation of press releases, project releases, and company announcements, etc.
- Manage and maintain internal e-mail marketing system
- Oversee and implement the amplification of Reos communications by leveraging social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, etc..)
- Coordinate paid marketing efforts via Google AdWords or industry newsletters as needed to achieve business objectives
- Gather and analyze data analytics from website(s), e-mail marketing platform and social media accounts globally and regionally, observing trends and using these to inform strategy
Media Relations/Public Relations Management
- Support Reos leadership to respond to media requests
- Coordinate crisis management communications
Authority of the role
- Develops the marketing strategy and ensures effective implementation
- Develops and manages the global communications budget within the overall annual budget approved by the Reos Global Council
- Selects and approves sub-contractors
- Approves content and messaging
Qualifications
- Energized by the work of Reos Partners and interested in addressing systemic social, political, economic, and environmental challenges
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience and 5 years of experience working in or with social enterprises
- Strong knowledge/understanding of brand management
- Entrepreneurial, able to think creatively and innovatively, and interested to contribute to building a dynamic, growing, high-impact organization
- Confident yet humble and self-aware; strong interpersonal skills and able to work well in diverse teams; ability to give and receive feedback constructively
- Excellent verbal and written language and communication skills (English and preferably other languages)
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, online marketing and measurement, and website analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects
- Budget management skills and proficiency
- High level of initiative and responsibility with a dedication to quality and detail
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision, self-managing and accountable
- Able to lead when necessary, and to welcome initiative and support from others
- Professional demeanor towards duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to independence, ethics, and the exercise of judgement
- Extensive experience working in different geographies and cultures
Contracting, Payment, and Oversight
Location Requirements:
- Preferably based in South Africa, Switzerland, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom
- Wlling and able to work virtually
- Willing and able to travel
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: Approximately 80-100,000 USD/year depending on experience, location of work and nature of contract

The Finance and Operations Manager for Reos Partners in Europe will support sound and transparent financial management, efficient operations, and accountable contracting in a growing, dynamic, and evolving company with a diverse and distributed team.
Start Date: March 1, 2022 (or soon thereafter)
Level of Effort: Initially part-time at 50% (4 hours/day) with possibility to extend working hours in the future
Location: Europe – preferably Switzerland, UK or Netherlands
Responsibilities
The Finance and Operations Manager will work with the Managing Director and the Management Team of Reos Partners in Europe to oversee finance and operations of business entities that make up Reos Partners Europe (currently two entities in Switzerland and the UK, likely including a third entity in the Netherlands by end 2022).
Financial Management
- Forecast, maintain, and manage yearly budget and cash flow
- Enhance, integrate, automate and maintain financial management and reporting system
- Prepare routine financial analyses, including financial forecasting to inform work-planning and sound decision-making
- Lead monthly finance meeting with Reos Europe senior management team
- Make proactive proposals to improve financial management and/or on investments to be considered
- Coordinate with accountant on taxes and payroll
- Manage statutory payments (taxes, insurance/pensions), salaries, supplier provider invoices, cross-office payments, and other payments as required
- Track invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Manage annual reporting to Reos Partners Global for calculation of contributions to global shared services
Operations and HR Management
- Support the enhancement, integration and automation of systems and software for time management, project management, finance management and contact management
- Establish and maintain system for documenting decisions and support Management Team to record and communicate decisions effectively
- Enhance and maintain Reos Europe career framework
- Coordinate level of effort distribution and lead level of effort meetings to support team balance and effective workload
- Draft staff contracts and ensure compliance with employment regulations in multiple jurisdictions as well as fair and equal treatment of staff in different circumstances
- Develop, review, and refine policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, BCorp, and licensing agreements with Reos Partners Global Inc. and alignment with Reos Partners values in relation to sustainability and equity
- Guide the team as needed on compliance with relevant policies
- Review client contracts in advance of signature to ensure alignment with Reos Partners’ standard terms and conditions
- Manage the insurance contracts of Reos Partners Europe and make sure the different offices have comparable insurance coverages
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience including roles in financial management
- Fluency in English, other languages a plus
- Advanced use of Excel or other software as needed for creating custom financial models and reporting systems
- Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Xero
- Excellent organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Interested in collaborative organisational models and innovative approaches to finance and operations
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work in an independent and self-directed manner
- Experience working with diverse team members
- Ability to see the big picture concurrent with managing details
- Strong self-awareness, learning attitude, and interpersonal skills

Communications and Marketing Intern, Europe
To coordinate and support Reos Partners’ external and internal communication and marketing efforts in Europe
Overview
Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an international social enterprise and promote impact efforts in areas such as health, equity, climate, sustainable development and others with a view to bring about a better world? Do you want to gain experience in the practical aspects of how to coordinate communication and marketing efforts in a small yet global organisation? Then this role could be for you.
Reos Partners is looking for an intern to work with us over the next 6-9 months to coordinate and support the organisation’s external and internal communication and marketing efforts in Europe. You will help to increase brand awareness, distribute promotional material, create content and build up social media presence, support marketing campaigns and connect our brand with our online audiences.

Responsibilities
- Support the communications strategy and marketing campaigns.
- Identify and create content for social media.
- Review statistics on marketing performance, research trends, make adjustments and recommendations to the team.
- Explore (e.g. via best practice research) creative ways, tools and materials that can be used to improve our communications and marketing efforts.
- Help the team to develop and publish social media content based and coordinate publications from the Europe team members.
- Support team efforts to promote/market projects, events, achievements.
- Develop marketing materials, this includes editing content and selecting visuals.
- Work with project management software and proactively coordinate the marketing and communications with the people responsible for delivery of tasks.
Qualifications
- BSc graduate or currently studying in a MSc programme in Marketing, Communications, Media, Public Relations, Impact communication, or relevant field.
- Full fluency in English (other languages a plus)
- Experience with marketing campaigns on social media (experience in communicating for social & environmental impact a plus).
- Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress and design softwares like InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
- Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and simply.
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Good presentation and design skills.
- Some familiarity with B2B advertising.
- Located in Europe or the Middle East
Salary and Benefits
- The intern salary at Reos Partners is 1200 Euros for 40 hours per week, pro-rated for part time work.
- All expenses associated with work are covered if pre-approved. No other benefits apply.
